ABBYY FlexiCapture 9.0

New version offers a powerful highly scalable Processing Server, which performs automatic distribution of the processing tasks among the CPUs and load-balancing, and dedicated user-attended stations. The system can be easily expanded by adding supplementary processing cores and/or stations and ensures effective distributed high-volume documents processing.

FlexiCapture 9.0 workflow can be easily adjusted to the requirements of your specific business processes. Based on queues it allows flexible distribution of the verification (processing) tasks among users ensuring highly productive documents handling. An Exceptions Queue is intended for problem documents to be processed by a special operator.

By-document processing is now allowed enabling automated export of documents that do not require verification separately from the rest of the batch.

FlexiCapture Web Service API provides SOAP access to FlexiCapture Processing Server from an external application allowing smooth integration with various business applications and workflows. By using Web Service API, FlexiCapture can be used as an automated document classification and data capture service.

The Remote FlexiCapture 9.0 Scanning Station allows documents to be scanned and delivered directly to FlexiCapture via HTTP from any remote location, significantly cutting document delivery and storage costs. This new feature is ideal for large enterprises with remote branches and business processes enabling document capture at their point of entry for further centralized processing.

The new version supports Chinese (both traditional and simplified), Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese languages allowing fast and accurate processing and verification of documents in 186 OCR languages. FlexiCapture 9.0 can also process multilingual documents with mixed ideographic and alphabetical languages (e.g., Chinese and English in one document).

Multi-level Classifier is a new feature that allows optimized identification of a document type in batches with several FlexiLayouts. With Multi-level Classifier, it is possible to assign a Classification tree with unlimited number of logical levels (classes): separate invoices from contracts, classify invoices by supplier, extract invoices from a particular supplier by date, etc.

FlexiCapture 9.0 supports exporting to multiple destinations, which enables the export of both data and images with different export settings and formats to several destinations simultaneously.

The redaction tool allows certain fields to be removed from the image before export, ensuring the security of your confidential or sensitive data. Different sets of fields can be specified for redaction for each export destination.

For managing the user rights and monitoring the performance of the system, FlexiCapture 9.0 offers a web-based Administration and Monitoring Console that enables around-the-clock supervision from any location.

With FlexiLayout Studio 9.0, it is possible to create alternative layouts for one document type. All the alternative layouts share a common set of export blocks, but each of them has an independent set of search elements with independent and simplified logic inside. This feature simplifies creation, adjustment and maintenance of FlexiLayouts for documents with extremely variable layout of fields, such as invoices.

With FormDesigner 9.0 you can create electronic PDF forms, distribute them and receive the completed forms via e-mail or HTTP combining paper-based forms processing, such as surveys, with electronic forms collection.
