PDF Transformer 3.0 supports ABBYY’s innovative Adaptive Document Recognition Technology® (ADRT), which intelligently re-creates logical structure of documents across multiple pages and outputs PDF files in native Microsoft Word formatting. With ADRT, the application accurately reproduces headers, footers, page numbering, footnotes, fonts, font styles, long tables and captions to images across all pages of a document. Should any changes be applied to page numbers, footnotes or captions, they will be accurately reflected at once within the entire multi-page document.

PDF Transformer 3.0 automatically detects document languages and can process documents in 184 languages, including a variety of languages with Latin and Cyrillic alphabets, as well as Greek, Armenian, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Thai and multi-lingual documents.

To make document conversion even faster, PDF Transformer 3.0 can convert several PDF files. Simply open a folder, select the required PDF files and transform them into Word, Excel or searchable PDF documents using the corresponding command in the right-click menu.

Automatically combine several files of different formats (such as Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, Visio diagrams, PowerPoint® presentations, other PDF files and more) into one PDF document. Each file’s content will begin with a new page in the resulting PDF.

Easily append new files to a newly created PDF file or add to an existing PDF document. Regardless of the format—Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint®, HTML and TXT files—the new content will automatically appear at the end of the PDF document. Just select the file to append, and choose “ABBYY PDF Transformer 3.0 – Append to Existing PDF Document” in the right-click menu.

Redaction of Sensitive Information
Block any sensitive information, including metadata, from being viewed or searched with an easy-to-use redaction feature. Simply click on the Redaction icon from the toolbar and use the mouse to draw around the area of sensitive information (both text and image) to be covered. The highlighted area will be blacked out in the resulting document, preventing the content from being viewed or searched.

• Customized Stamping
  Easily mark documents with copyrights or status, such as “approved” or “confidential” in any text, position or color in the resulting PDF document. 
  
• Bates Stamping
  Essential for litigation and e-discovery preparation, a new Bates stamping feature provides identification, protection and auto-incremental numbering of valuable documents.

Easily email PDF documents and save memory by compressing PDF files up to 10 times their original size with ABBYY’s new MRC compression technology.

Save Selected Document Area to Clipboard
Save that thought! Now it’s easy to send the contents of a particular text or image area directly to the clipboard and paste it later into any Microsoft Office document.

Improved Table Reconstruction
Easily and accurately re-create tables when converting PDFs to Word or Excel, including multi-page tables and tables with colored areas.

New Panel with Page Thumbnails
Easily navigate between pages of a long PDF file with a convenient panel of page thumbnails. If the entire document doesn’t need to be converted, this feature will help select only the pages to be converted.

Flexible Placement of Panels
Users can easily change the position of the main interface panels to suit individual preferences.
